Monday, July 3, 1995The ship docked early in the morning in Vancouver, Canada. We ate a quick breakfast then went to pack our cabins. By 10:00am we were off the ship at the pier. A pleasant three hour bus ride back into the USA and down to the Seattle airport was next. Then we had a nice long wait in Seattle for our flight. Luckily, the Seattle airport is one of the nicer ones in the country. It has plenty of art and exhibits. My favorite is the "talking water fountain." It is a regular drinking fountain, but when used, a speaker underneath plays loud gurgling noises. It is fun to sit nearby and watch the response of surprised travelers. By the time our flight to Houston and on to Ellington finished it was early in the morning on July Fourth. We stopped by the vet's office to pick up the dogs (Mandel and Lance had a wonderful time at camp, Mandel learned some new words). Then home for some well deserved sleep.Grateful for:
