This is Hanakapiai beach, two miles into the 12-mile Na Pali trail. We found some stray black kittens here and also had a much-needed rest before we left this idyllic scene and started the hike back to Kee beach. Swimming was not recommended here because of the strong surf (we did not have our bathing suits anyway).
