Tuna Casserole Recipe

Directions

  1. Brown the onion and pepper in a small amount of oil. While strring, add the flour; then add the milk and soup. Stir until thickened.
  2. Add tuna and lemon juice. Pour into a 13x9 inch casserole dish. Place cheese slices on top.
  3. Bake at 400°F. for 30 minutes or until cheese is bown. Serve on rice.

My Experience

This is a family recipe that my Mom read to me over the phone, but she had to make up the amounts of the ingredients, since it has never really been written down. I added extra lemon to give it a special zing (Mom said half a lemon), and it really does taste like I remember it.
