On to Bangalore

I'm sitting on the Bangalore flight now. Our connecting flight was almost 2 hours late, but we were very efficiently taken off the plane (on the tarmac!), loaded onto a bus, and taken to Terminal 1. Our gate (B44) was a short walk away.

I am surprised at how many signs are in English! Most all of the stores are, and many people here are speaking English. In fact, I was taken aback when the flight attendant asked me question in German! It's easy to forget I'm in a non-English-speaking country.

I'm wearing my Accenture shirt, and it's allowed me to meet 5 different Accenture people on this flight: two from the Dallas office, one from the Austin office, and two who didn't say where their home office were. That's pretty amazing - is Accenture such a dominant player in Bangalore? If so, I had no idea.

This flight looks to be about as long as the first leg was - 8:30. I hope to spend some of it getting the rest of my Thursday presentation finished. If I sleep, that's OK, but it will be more important for me to sleep once we get to Bangalore at about noon Houston time. It's amazing what daylight can do for your sleep patterns. It's sunny outside and I do not feel like I've been up all night (which I have, for the most part).
